Top 5 Book I Can't Wait For

We all know that there is nothing worse than waiting for a book to come out which is why I have decided to post the top 5 book I can't wait for.

Midnight Frost (July.30.2013)

Midnight Frost is the fifth book in the Mythos Academy series by Jennifer Estep. I’m super excited about it coming out. I don’t want to give any spoilers about why I’m super excited about it coming out but let’s just say that a certain someone better make a reappearance in this book.

Biting Bad (Aug.6.2013)

Biting Bad is the eighth book in the Chicago Vampires series by Chloe Neill. Some might think that after eight books I might not get excited about a book coming out but not in this series. Chloe Neill keeps her audience on their toes. I never know what to expect from Merit and Ethan’s relationship or what trouble they’ll get into next. I can honestly say that if there was a 20^th book I would be just as excited about that one coming out as I am for Biting Bad, the 8^th.

Crown of Midnight (Aug.27.2013)

Crown of Midnight is the second book in the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas. I cannot wait for this book to come out. I love the main character, Celaena, because she’s an assassin with a heart. Plus, I really want to know whom she’ll end up with and what’s going on inside the castle.

Origin (Aug.27.2013)

Origin is the fourth book in the Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. I love this series for multiple reasons. The first being that one of the main characters, Katy, is a book lover and blogger just like me. Second, being that Daemon is gorgeous and, yes I called dibs on him. The third because Daemon and Katy have an awesome chemistry. I can’t wait for this book to come out because Daemon is going to get his Lux on.

Emerald Green (Oct.8.2013)

Emerald Green is the third book in the Ruby Red Trilogy. Sadly this will be the last book in the series, which was originally written in German. I absolutely love love love this series and I can’t wait for the last book to come out, it feels as if I have waited forever for this book to come out and still have to wait forever for it to still come out. I can’t wait to find out what will happen with Gwen and Gideon.

I had been itching to read this book since I saw the cover. I ordered this book along with The Collector by Victoria Scott. I expected big things from this book and it did not disappoint.

Overall: I loved the story line because it was well thought out and the ending was unexpected. Also, I loved the love triangle. It was, as I now call it, a Wendy Higgins love triangle. This means that a character has two love interests, one which they can see themselves being happy with and the other with which they know they're meant to be with. Axel was the dreamiest guy, he has looks, charm, personality, charisma, and lets just say I could go on and on about him. Also, Ren is the strong kind of heroin I love to read about. She didn't just sit in the corner and let others fight for her. If you every do get a chance to read this book, which I HIGHLY suggest you do, you can check out some extra scenes and mini stories on her website.

Ranking: I would rank this book a 9.

The Collector

Hey everyone! So, I first learned about The Collector from another book blog I follow and the book, or at least the character Dante Walker, seemed really good. Anyhoo I ordered the book and I just finished it yesterday. I have got to say that it was very interesting because it was completely written in the guy's perspective which is something I have never read. So, here's a mini explanation about the book.

Overall: I really enjoyed reading this book although I have to say that Charlie sort of got on my nerves because she completely changes at one point during the book. I really wish they could have kept her as she was because you usually don't see a hot guy, such as Dante, fall for the nerdy girl, such as Charlie. I think the book could have been better if Charlie would have stayed as she was but Dante's awesomeness made up for that.

Ranking: For the ranking I would give it a 6.

Throw Back Thursday (First Post)

Hey Everyone! This is my fist time every starting a blog or writing for a blog, so I'm a complete newbie. Also, since it's Thursday, I'm starting off with a sort of book throw back Thursday, recapping some of my favorite books. (BTW: after Hush Hush the books are in no particular order. I just couldn't decide which were my favorite.)

1) Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

I have got to say that out of all the series I have read this one by Becca is my favorite. I had seen the book around Borders for a while and it look interesting but I just never bought it. One day I just decided, What the heck why not? So I bought it and absolutely fell in love with Patch and Nora. Patch is just yum with an edge and Nora is take charge and bold. The book is about fallen angels and I highly suggest reading it, you never know it could become your new favorite book as well.

2) Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead

I read this book during the period where everyone was obsessed vampires and let me just say that it is no twilight. I loved this book because Rose, one of the main characters, is strong and can stand up for herself. Also, there's a dangerous and gorgeous Dimitri in it; plus a sarcastic and hot Adrian in it as well. So you know it's bound to be good. I'm super excited that they're making this into a movie!!!!

3) Falling Under by Gwen Hayes

I finished this book while on a plane to New York and it literally was one of those books that I just couldn't put down once I started reading it. I loved Hayden and his half human, half demon self. Theia, just like Nora and Rose, takes life into her own hands. Definitely recommend reading this book.

4) Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins

God what can I say about this book. Kaidan is a bad boy with a heart, he's charming, sweet, cocky, sarcastic, and perfect. I love the story line of the book and it's deals with demons and the children doing their work, which is something I've never read about. I can't wait for the third book to come out in April 29th, 2014, which also gives you time to read the first and second book. (I highly recommend it, trust me you'll love it.)

5) Touch of Frost by Jennifer Estep

If I had to describe this book in two phrases the first would be 'Logan freaking Quinn' and the second would be 'Go Gwen and Vic'. Trust me after reading this book you'll know what I'm talking about. The book has to do with descendants of the gods and goddesses and it come action packed with some comedy and definitely some chemistry between Gwen and Quinn.
