Story line: I loved the flow of the story line, especially since it had mythology in it which I love to read about. I loved how as the story line progressed we learned more about the characters and the unfolding of the story and the mythology.

Writing: The writing was amazing. It has something to it that pulls you in from the first couple of chapters. Not only is the story entertaining but it also gets the readers thinking about true love, courage, and family. I also enjoyed reading the book through Kellen's perspective because it's a whole different world to be in a guy's head than a girl's.

Characters:
Kellen: Kellen's character made a great hero in this book. His courage really stood out to me and I love to read about it in books. Kellen's character was very easy to like and root for, as I found myself doing a lot of the times.

Overall: I enjoyed reading this book a lot more than I expected to and it definitely pulled me in from the start. I good read especially if you enjoy reading about mythology.

Rating: I would give this book a 9.
